Joberg and the Apartheid Museum

A 14-hour flight brought us from DC to Johannesburg on October 24th, 2007, and after a meal of ostrich, croc, warthog, and a variety of herd animals, we got a good night sleep at Misty Hills resort. In the morning, we began our adventure of understanding and experiencing the effects of Apartheid in South Africa. It is amazing how recently this governmental policy and culture was in place, and how it will impact SA for decades to come. A few shots from our trip to the museum and at the museum below.
